Case Study
Transmission Line & Asset Inspection
Transmission Line and Asset Inspection

01.
Overview.
Our client was tasked with inspecting and analyzing the conditions of more than 100 miles of transmission line and assets. The structures snaked their way through remote fields of livestock, oil fields and giant mesas - all of which brought on certain operational hurdles that needed to be cleared.
02.
Challenges and Solutions.
Building on our already comprehensive safety systems, we ensured thorough planning and daily coordination between teams and project stakeholders to support field operations in remote and challenging environments. Despite facing high wind gusts exceeding 40 mph, rugged terrain, curious livestock, and the occasional flat tire, our teams maintained a steady pace, ultimately delivering ahead of schedule.
03.
Results.
A data-rich visual report and categorized analysis was delivered, identifying hundreds AOIs along the line. High-resolution photos supported detailed assessment of each structure, enabling the end user to order parts, plan equipment needs, and estimate man-hour repair costs with greater accuracy. The increased situational awareness has significantly reduced the need for additional site visits.
